Perhaps one of the greatest things about blogging is hearing from people like you. It’s fun to hear about your remodels, experiences in Germany, green stuff, simple stuff – you name it. You all make my day. Don’t hesitate to drop me a line or send a link.

My mission with this blog is to create a community where like-minded people who share the same values of simplicity in our homes can come and share ideas.  I would be honored to share bits of your home (such as this homeowner/reader has) or tricks you’ve picked up on incorporating simplicity into your life (like this reader who explains soap nuts to all of us).  Share?  Oh yes please!

• Here’s your answer to those funny little nozzles above above our kitchen sink.
• Find yourself looking through the archieves and thinking, “Hey Katie!  What’s with all the stuff about being in the Rocky Mountains? Aren’t you in Germany?”  It’s true.  We spent the last summer in the United States.  We lived in this house made of tires; I learned to fly an airplane.
• If you’re interested in some of the items we can’t live without (like which books and eco-products we squeeze into our suitcases or appliances and furniture look-alikes in our apartment), swing by our Amazon Store.
