I have a deep secret wish of making this airplane hangar clean. When we started remodeling, I’m not sure if I thought, “Oh I can do this! No problem.” Or did I gasp and slowly begin? All I know is that if you take things a little bit at a time, you can make progress. Don’t look at the big picture. Just look at that shiny little corner you’ve unsurfaced. So that’s what I do.

I have found the key to going crazy.
Prime your whole house white.
Then start painting it white.
Sometimes you’ll be able to tell what areas have been primed and painted (right of the bedroom window) versus the areas that are only primed (below the window).
But most of the time, you’ll have no idea. You’ll just slowly go crazy.

Hello Friday! Did your week just fly by in a blur, too?
Around here: it’s happening. The hangar loft is really starting to feel like a place we can call home.
Isn’t it crazy how small it looks? That red beam on the windows on the right is the center mark of our entire future home, which means you can see half our house in this photo.
I chose a very basic, feathery texture for everything.
