I’m seriously loving this pause from work. It didn’t prevent me from setting the alarm clock hours early so I could cross another project off at the hangar before vacation officially began later that morning. It also didn’t prevent Martin from doing so much of the same.
Sometimes, we are not good at resting!
Many of you have spotted that in us, of course. You’re already asking what project we’re taking on next?!
Do you ever hold a journal in your hands and never do anything with it?
You think your handwritting isn’t beautiful enough. You might mess up the page. Your story doesn’t matter. You might have a better, more worthy story some later day.
So you wait. You never end up telling your stories. And then the next thing you know – without you even realizing or intending it – the stories are gone.
Have you been adding little bits of life to your journal?
It’s not something you have to do. I always feel like it adds a little dimension to storykeeping. It breaks up the words. It shows the stories you’re telling. Plus I’ll be honest: it gives me a place to tuck away all the stuff of life that I really want to keep.
