We Have Reclaimed Wood Cabinets!
Today is a very good day. We finished building the kitchen cabinets in our airplane hangar home and got everything moved in. Yahoo!

Martin still has a few projects left to do like building a cupboard above the sink and finishing bits of trim work. That can come later.

We like how the wood grain has different hues, giving a western nod to traditional cabinetry in Montana.
The level of detail that Martin and Jay have is amazing. See how the wood strips on the left carry over to the right? The vertical strips are continuous pieces of wood, too.
This old airplane hangar has come a long way in two years. We’re so grateful for this bit of closure. Literally. We hate dusting dishes.
