This is Where : Hangar Remodel Progress
Welcome to the hangar where stuff is slowly disappearing.
Where there are only little piles left to sort and attend to.
Where you’ll still find a cool little nicknack to pause and explore.
Where the neighbor’s cat will still come to hang out and examine all progress.
Where you can sit down and stare at the utility sink because that’s as far as I got this chair before I sat down and took a nap one hot afternoon.
Where that cat likes to nap now, too.
Where 75 percent of the stuff is gone.
Where two planes are gone.
Where there’s a heap of stuff to keep and a heap of tools ready to go.
Where there’s a date set for next week’s calendar that simply reads: DEMOLITION DAY

It is so fun to see the progress of your new home! It is so fun to see it step by step. So my question is, what are you going to do with the big area on the first floor? I have seen your plans for the 2nd floor…but don’t recall hearing what you are doing with where the planes reside now?

This makes me tired just looking at it -you guys have worked HARD! Glad you had a nice long weekend to refresh yourselves and how exciting that you’re getting so close to the next phase of this big project!

your progress looks amazing! i love organizing and cleaning! like you mentioned, it’s fun to take the occasional break and ponder a new find, or relax and nap for just a bit. but the end result is always the same: a clean slate from which to do whatever your heart desires!
cleaning always clears my head, as if i’m cleaning up in there as i sort through piles of papers and trinkets with my hands.
keep up the great work!

Demolition day – how exciting! And it looks like you’ve got a lifetime’s worth of shelves – some on every wall!
Have a beautiful day!

Jenny – I’ll be sure to clear that up. Thanks for the note!
Mother of Pearl – yes, a lifetime worth of shelves… but EMPTY shelves :)
