Springtime or Snow Time?
It’s spring break time around here. Do you know what that always means?

Yep. Big ol’ wet snowstorms. We’re not quite ready for daffodils and spring colors around here just yet.
…at least not outside!

New {Love Where We Live} minibooks are in the works inside. And they’re full of spring color!
The paper in the lower right come from Germany. They’re translucent, so I slid some white journal pages behind them so you could see. My photo isn’t doing justice, though. That paper is something you can bet I’d hoard. Watch for these new journals tomorrow.
So ha! Spring is here.

Is it spring or snowstorm where you are?

More like borderline summer here. It’s 88 outside. I’m not ready. If only it would stay no warmer than this. Unfortunately our summers are regularly triple digits. I’ll just think of your snow to keep me cool.

We are in between snow and daffodils. We have cold windy rain that turns to ice at night. The snow is gone, but no daffodils yet. So it is spring but not the kind that makes you want to sing and dance.

Berlin is budding with crocuses and snowdrops, pussy willows and bare, yet expectant-looking tree branches–the amount of sun we’ve had in the past two weeks has been just grand!

Good to hear, Larissa. Soak it up!
Last March was the hardest to get through in Berlin. Oh ugh!

Kate,
I always get envious of warm places around this time of year. But uh, then I change my mind in May. I only know one family with air conditioning around here. So to you – keep cool!

It’s spring-ish and WINDY here in Denver. Growing up in NC, I became programmed to think that “winter” is done in February and spring starts with March…. it’s been in the 70s and 80s in my hometown for weeks now, so these consistent 50s are throwing me for a loop! The flowers are coming up, though… and there are some mysteries growing in the new backyard that I can’t wait to discover!
