I just finished updating the About page here.
I’d say it’s a safe bet to no longer say that I am an expat in Germany… at least not always. We’re more of a live-in-two-places kind of family now. We have been since September. It’s so exciting!
My next need-to-update is the Frequently Asked Questions page. It’s ready for a lovely facelift. But first – I wanted to ask for any suggestions. Anything you’re curious about? Anything you think others might be curious about? Please leave your suggestions in the comments or send a tweet @makingthishome. Hugs and handshakes all around!

I like the updates! :) But you need to update the little space on the left hand side (under Welcome!) too.
One suggestion–telling us how you went from your “old life” to your “new life?” I know I had asked about it in another post. You don’t have to get super specific, if you don’t want to, but just how you went about making changes, what you did, how long it took to make things possible. I’m curious in a friendly way. What you’ve done is very inspiring to me!
I know you just didn’t wake up, quit your jobs, get rid of stuff and head off to Germany! That would be too easy :) Did you have a set plan, or did you make up goals as you went? Did you know exactly where you wanted to be at “the end” or just a few random ideas–and you had more concrete thoughts on the process of getting there… That type of thing. Feel free to ask for clarification if I’m not 100% clear.
