Oh Baby! A Brand New Book…
We’re big fans of capturing the moments around our house, and I’m absolutely sure there is one monumental time that is more worthy of celebrating than any other: welcoming baby!
I’m so glad to present the much requested newest addition of {You Are Loved} baby books to Gadanke…

I wanted to make something that was just right for the detailed mom who wants to document every detail – growth charts, lists of loves, lists of firsts.

It was also really important for me to create a book for moms who like to go with the flow and jot down memories and experiences as the mood (and time!) struck them.

I’m all about supporting the local guys and opting for sustainable practices in life and in my products. This crusade to find 100% recycled materials, products from sustainable forests, and resources made in the USA or the European Union has really come together well with these journals. It’s my way of giving just a little tiny something extra to baby.

So mosey on over to Gadanke to look at the lovely new baby books, and pick one up for yourself, a mother-to-be, or a mamma with a little bundle of cuteness if you’d like. Just make sure you get over there before my own mom and all the women in my family snatch them up.

these are so beautiful and sweet. I’ve been following along for awhile now but not really aware of what these journals you’ve been mentioning are all about. AH… I see. What a wonderful gift for someone. I don’t have anyone in mind but I’m tucking this away for future.

Katie, the NAME of your baby jornal is INSPIRED! One day, the object of the journal (the baby) will likely be GIFTED with the complete journal… perhaps when they marry, or upon the birth of the own children, or perhaps upon the death of their parent(s).
At whatever point in life that they receive their journal, to see “You are Loved”… is a VERY powerful message. (And likely, the child will see the journal as they are growing up, as well.)
I don’t remember HEARING the words “I love you” from my parents (toward anyone) until I was 40 years old, when my mom started TELLING us. Out of the blue! SHOCKING!!! (My parents SHOWED love, in their own way… but never the words.) After hearing “I love you” enough times, my sister, and my dad started saying it to each other, too. Now we ALL say it, ALL the time! It’s just words, but it’s comforting. To all of us.
Any parent that would take the time to prepare this type of journal of/for their child would be SHOWING their love… but the words are important, too.
Wouldn’t it be cool… as an adult… to read your journal that your parents had prepared… and for your parent(s) to have written “I love you, Katie” … on every page? What a gift that would be!
Kathryn Kistner in Texas,
who is SO GRATEFUL that we LEARNED to say “I love you”, and could TELL each other what we felt… before it was too late…

katie, this is such a beautiful idea! sometimes it’s easier to see it written than to say it…funny how that starts off…but a wonderful idea.
