Another Thing I Love About Germany Is…
…the sidewalks.

Nothing is so beautiful as pausing to look down at your feet in Germany and seeing cobblestone sidewalks with moss growing in the cracks.

I miss that about Italy, too! It’s the little things. :)

This is a lovely post. You are right, it’s all about taking time to enjoy the simple things that life has to offer us – look up at the sky, look down at the ground. Yes, that stunning sunset over the sea is wonderful to watch. But so are the landscapes that we pass by every day.
The Berlin cobblestones have actually been responsible for a minor epiphany in my life. I have always worn heels to work – that is, until I started working regularly in Berlin, and got thoroughly fed up of getting my heel trapped between the cobblestones, and hollering to my collleagues to wait up, I’m stuck again! So I started wearing flats to work, and am now skipping happily around the office. I’m more comfortable, more co-ordinated, I get around faster – it just feels better all round. Thank you, Berlin!

Love cobblestone roads! Love it. Something just so… old about it but old in a good way. :) Thanks for your input on the dresses. :)
