One Thing I Love About Germany Is…
…no stickers on my fruit and vegetables.
Oranges aren’t a huge deal. But tomatoes and cucumbers and peppers? We’ve eaten a lot of sticker and sticker glue over the years in the United States. Stickers on every piece of produce.
Thank you for not doing that, Germany.

So right! It was the first thing I noticed when I went grocery shopping in the states – stickers on potatoes, peppers and apples. Oh and shiny apples. Who needs waxed fruit? What’s wrong with shining them on your sweater like I used to do as a kid?

My avocados say “ready to eat” in English…I think I’m buying the wrong avocados…
