Bigger Doesn’t Mean Better

Today I’m pleased to be a guest writer at The Inspired Room.  My guest article is about finding pleasure in smaller things instead of feeling like things in our lives need to be bigger to make us happier.  I think you’ll enjoy it… you might even chuckle when you see my greatest little inspiration.

Thank you for all the kind thoughts and emails while I was feeling so ill.

I’ve also been wanting to share this cute little car with you.  The license plate says BEE, which fits it just perfectly.  Don’t you think?  That bike looks like it could flatten the car instead of the other way around.

Your guest post today at The Inspired Room is beautiful. My favorite part: “The greatest thing a kitchen can have isn’t a big fancy gadget. It’s just a window to watch the world.”

My fiance and I decided to forgo a normal wedding registry because we don’t need more kitchen gadgets. It’s a shame more people don’t enjoy their kitchens — me included. Thank goodness I know that kitchen appliances aren’t going to make everything better! I don’t suppose we could register for a kitchen window….

I really enjoyed reading your guest post over at The Inspired Room today. Thanks for giving the link that explains the water meters in your kitchen. I was also curious about them. Cute car – we love our Prius. Whether the US cost of gasoline per gallon is up or down, it just makes sense to use as little petro as possible.

I read your post and followed your link from The Inspired Room. I really enjoyed the photos of your new kitchen and your thoughts about it. I’ve just moved into my first “small” apartment, which I’m sure isn’t small in many parts of the world. I’m enjoying the fact it doesn’t take as much to heat, decorate, clean, etc. I’m alone now, since losing my precious husband last Oct, so I don’t need a larger place. I’m going to add your link to my list of blog friends so I won’t forget how to find you again. LOL

Congratulations on your guest post at The Inspired Room. Imagine my surprise when I open my blog folder to read the latest design and news and see your smiling face in one of my favorite blogs. Your kitchen reads like it should be in a top US magazine. I’m very impressed with what you’ve done!
    Good job!
