You Asked! Tour of Berlin
Okay. Okay. I’m giving in! You’ve asked so many questions about what it’s like living in Europe, and I’m surrendering to the peer pressure.
The festivals. The markets. The not speaking English thing. I’ve got you covered.

Check out the whole scoop. It’s on the new tab called Berlin Tour beneath the header.

Your city is beautiful and I envy the lifestyle. I am so tired of American consumerism and processed food! I’ve been trying to convince my husband to move to England but I’ve had no luck so far. Enjoy a day for me!

That was wonderful, Katie. I used to be just a few hours of drive away, but never visited. Maybe one day :o)

Hi, Katie!
I really loved your tour! Europe fascinates me, it’s so old. I’ve only been to a couple of cities though. Berlin looks wonderful and I would love all of the history. Thanks for sharing!

That was awesome! I have been to Germany three times and loved every minute, but never got to see Berlin. Thanks for that amazing report. Can’t wait for more installments!

ps I ride my bike (with a basket) all over my small town here in the west desert of Utah. It is such a fun way to go. But I do get strange looks.

Hi Katie…I checked out your Berlin Tour…it’s great & you have the most wonderful smile! You & Martin make the cutest couple. Did his job take you there & how long do you expect to live in Berlin? Hugs, Bo

Hi Katie…thanks for sharing the tour of Berlin. We love visiting Germany but we have never been to Berlin….my daughter speaks pretty much fluent German so she was worth her weight in gold…and she’s the only person i know that can read a foreign road map upside down and get you where you got to go…..my biggest memory of being in Munich was the day I refused to ride the subway, a bit of claustrophobia, so I drove the car into town to meet the fam….I kept parking in all “No Parking” spots and everyone would yell things at me…it took me awhile to figure out where I could go and where I couldn’t…..I have since gotten over my fear of travleing underground…..Sue.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I’m so glad to have found yours. I love Berlin! I’ve been a few times and the first time I didn’t think I’d like it (I was catering to my WWII history buff Dad when he visited), but found it to be an amazing city.
I did a similar tour on my blog of Heidelberg. Here’s the link if you’d like to check it out http://myheelsarehigherthanyours.blogspot.com/2008/11/welcome-to-heidelberg.html
If you ever come south, or I come north we should get together. My German is terrible too (though I do try), so we’ll do great!

Your Berlin Tour is one of my favorite posts, hands down. I definitely want to visit your city now! I love nutella and banana crepes…we get those in London whenever we fly over to visit Wales…mmmmmm….
