How to Make Personalized Ikea Magazine Files
Here’s a quick, low-price little upgrade I did for the boring, white magazine holders that hold all of my German lessons:
Personalized flower details
To make this:
I picked up two Kassett Magazine Files from Ikea for eight beans and sketched little circles where I thought each flower should go. Then I pulled out the same acrylic paint I used for our door mat and freehanded casual stems and pedals.
Ten or fifteen minutes later, I was done. I think I’ll use this same technique for the rest of my desk.

Well aren’t you crafty! That looks really cute!
See I would think about something like this, get everything and then it would sit around for at least a week before I get to it. Really got to get less on my to do list…. :)

I’m so impressed with the art you added to the magazine boxes.
I have some plain, solid ones too. I’ll have to think about something
to add to them to dress them up.
Thanks for the idea.
