Where Are My Shoes? - A Children’s Poem
I cannot find my shoes.
It’s an awful day.
I cannot find my shoes
so I can go and play.
They’re not on the kitchen floor
or halfway up the stairs.
my shoes aren’t near the tub
or on the front room chairs.
I cannot find my shoes.
I’ve looked like everywhere.
I cannot find my shoes.
Can’t find them anywhere.
I’ve checked the den twelve times
and scoured my soccer gear.
Oh wait. They’re in the closet.
Who the heck put ‘em HERE?
