Setting up the Workshop
I know I’m not alone on this. If you have ever remodeled anything in your home WHILE living there, you know exactly how we feel. That is – miserable.
We have hung this enormous tarp across our living room and set up shop. The space extend about four feet beyond either side of this picture, but that’s it. We have laid tarps on the ground to protect the flooring and rented a shop vacuum from OBI to keep the place cleaner.
Living in a constant construction zone has been driving us crazy. We’re already a little tense (and we’re eating a lot of sawdust). But I have found that as much as I really want to kick and scream and complain about how miserable our temporary tarp wall is, I can’t. Not in a place like Berlin where we always find reminders like this:

I cannot believe the wall looks so old now! It looks like it’s 100 years old, what’s up with that? (I am assuming it’s the Berlin Wall, right?)
