Welcome! I’m Katie, and you’re looking at what’s about to be a refreshing view on, well, making a home. The current sample board is the 480 square foot Berlin apartment where we’re tearing down walls and building our own cabinets.
Sounding too technical for ya? Yeah, me too.
That’s why there’s also going to be lots of the artistic side. Making a house involves construction; it’s the details that make this home. I love do-it-yourself stuff and supporting artists trying to do the same. Can’t wait to get rolling!
So hang on just a little bit. I promise it’ll be worth it.

Hi Katie,
thanks for you comments on Tapxe.com and I’m definitely going to be checking out your site often. My wife and I are living in a tiny attic apartment stuck in the 1950s and our trying to do a bit of redecoration ourselves… Also wanted to let you know of some friends of mine back in the states who have documented the entire process of remodeling their old house – http://www.thisyounghouse.com/.

Thanks for visiting Katie!! I’ve kind of scrolled through your blog…very interesting small place you’re living in there…in the Czech Republic. I like the demolition of the small kitchen and how it looks afterwards.
